Immunology Products

FLEXIBILITY is the keyword in the immunological products. There is a vast array of configurations: Plates, Modules, BreakApart™ Modules, LockWell™ Modules, Tubes, TSP, and Immuno Sticks. There is also a choice of surfaces depending on your assay needs. Choose from MaxiSorp™, PolySorp™,  MiniSorp™, and CovaLink™.

MAXISORP™: A polystyrene surface with a high affinity to molecules with mixed hydrophilic/ hydrophobic domains such as proteins. The MaxiSorp products are available with a quality certificate for the immobiliziation homogeneity of IgG.

POLYSORP™: A polystyrene surface less polar than MaxiSorp and with affinity to molecules of a more hydrophobic nature. The PolySorp surface is particularly suited for non-protein antigens including viral antigens.

MINISORP™: A polyethylene surface with a very low affinity to protein molecules. It is ideal for liquid phase immuno-techniques and for the storage of proteins.

COVALINK™: A modified polystyrene surface with primary or secondary amino groups grafted to it. The CovaLink surface is ideal for immobilizing molecules that fail to adsorp on to MaxiSorp or PolySorp. The covalent binding is made to a particular part of the molecule, so that a specific orientation of the molecule can be achieved.
